Udaipur artists shine globally

 
HAAT OF ART FAIR

A three-day art fair is set to grace Mumbai, featuring the artworks of 10 artists from Udaipur. The event, known as the "The Haat of Art," is organized by Bindu Dara Singh and Exhobuzz will take place from November 9 to 11, 2023. This fair aims to promote art and artists. Over 150 art galleries from various parts of the country will gather at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai, to showcase the creations of both established artists and freelance talents. More than 3,000 artists and over 100 celebrities are expected to participate, making this an exciting and diverse art event.

Dr. Nirmal Yadav and Dr. Manisha Sanchihar, hailing from Udaipur, are at the helm of this art festival. The event will feature a remarkable array of paintings by artists such as Dinesh Kothari, Sharmila Rathod, Iti Kachhawa, Neha Chapalot, Rahul Mali, Nirbhayraj Soni, and Mandeep Meera Sharma. Mandeep Sharma and Nirbhay Raj Soni will also provide a live demonstration of the traditional miniature painting style of Mewar, adding an educational aspect to the artistic showcase.

Notably, this exhibition goes beyond regional boundaries. In addition to artists from Diu, it will also feature works by artists from Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune, and Kolhapur. International artists from Denmark and the UK will join the event.

Following its Mumbai debut, this exhibition will move to Pune, where it will be hosted at the Sudarshan Art Gallery of the Maharashtra Cultural Center from November 16 to 21,2023. During this phase, attendees can look forward to a clay demonstration by the Jaipur-based artist Hansraj Chitra Bhoomi, which will add an interactive and educational element to the event. Moreover, this diverse collection of artworks is slated for an international showcase in Dubai, offering these artists an opportunity to reach a global audience and share their talents with the world.
