United States Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, was mesmerised by the historical significance of Udaipur and the beauty at city palace during his visit on Saturday. 

Bhupinder Auwah, Chief Administrative Officer, Mewar Charitable Foundation informed that US Ambassador reached city palace in the morning with his friends and family members. He was welcomed by the crown prince Lakshya Raj Singh Mewar.

Richard visited the Mardana Mahal, Janana Mahal, Roy Aangan, Mor Chauk, Costume Gallery, Silver Gallery and Music gallery. He was overwhelmed by the beauty of these sections.

Bhupinder then took him through the history of Mewar, the heroics of Maharana Pratap and the student-teacher tradition prevalent in the region. He also gave the ambassador a description of the various activities being undertaken by the foundation.

Richard seemed to thoroughly enjoy the moment as he indulged in many a group and solo photographs during the sojourn. He left the place with very warm words etched into the visitor’s book about his experience.
