There will be 3 cameras at the over head panel. The 2nd panel will be installed at a distance of 1 kilometre. The speed of the vehicle will be measured between these 2 panels. If any vehicle has crossed the prescribed speed limit, a challan will immediately be generated. All cameras will be watched by local police. The challans will be sent to the registered address of the vehicle owner.
Initially police had proposed 10 cameras between Jaipur and Bhilwara. The step received encouragement and was thence extended to Udaipur route. So if you think highway is the place for speeding up your machine, think twice.
