For 2 days, the cable will be spread upto a distance of 25 kms. This cable will take an X-Ray of underground area. Holes for the cable will go 100 to 130 feet deep.

The cables will provide underground data to the extent of 3000 metres. This data will be forwarded to Delhi for further investigation. After this, the investigation report will be sent to Dehradun and Baroda. As per Rathore, the process takes around 6 months. After getting reports, 3D process will begin. For this entire process, ONGC does not acquire land, instead takes it on lease from some farmer under administrative procedure and the farmer is paid for it.
