The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has forbidden the use of ChatGPT, an AI-based tool, in the upcoming class 10 and 12 board examinations, according to authorities. The usage of ChatGPT will be considered cheating in the exam.
Launched in November 2022, ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Tranformer) may generate text that looks human or that is human-like, including speeches, music, advertisements, news stories, and student essays.
By anticipating incoming word sequences, the new artificial intelligence (AI) system known as a large language model (LLM) is able to produce writing that resembles that of a human. Also, there is a warning that you shouldn't engage in any unethical behaviour in the exam's admit card.
"Mobile, ChatGPT and other electronic items will not be allowed in examination hall." - According to instructions issued by the Board ahead of the papers.
