-Cold waves disrupted masses on Friday.

Winter season is showing its colours. The temperature is constantly going up and down but the effect on these changes is not being felt. The only reason is the constant spell of cold waves which is creating the chill even during the day time.

Maximum temperature witnessed a drop of 0.4 degrees but the minimum went up by 6.3 degrees, yet the chill stayed. Fog was experienced during morning hours on Friday. Though weather was clear, yet the chill was experienced as the sun was not shining at its best.

Mount Abu recorded minimum temperature at 3.4 degrees and is the coldest as of now followed by Fatehpur at 4.2 degrees. The depressions in the west and rains have brought spine chilling winter. As per the met department the weather is likely to be dry for around a week and the temperatures will drop further due to cold waves.

The effect could be seen everywhere and even though the wedding rituals are being held in the early hours, people are carrying winter wear with them to stay safe from the cold waves.
