International Nurses Day will be celebrated across the country on May 12 and will also be celebrated in Udaipur. The state government has declared a holiday on International Nurses Day. On this special occasion the achievements of nurses of Udaipur needs to be glorified. There is no doubt that many nurses gave their excellent services during the difficult time of Covid pandemic.
6309 nurses are serving in 6 medical college hospitals and all health centers of Udaipur. These nurses have been serving shoulder to shoulder with doctors in the treatment of more than 50 lakh patients on an average every year.
More than 50 lakh patients come to Udaipur for treatment every year:
Nearly 22 lakh patients get treated in all health centers located across the district of the Medical and Health Department every year. On the other hand, it is estimated to provide treatment to 20-30 lakh patients in Geetanjali, Pacific, GBH Hospital, Ananta Hospital. Even after reducing the number of referred cases, more than 50 lakh patients get treated here.
