Udaipur, October 11, 2024: In Kamol village, located in the Sayra police station area of Gogunda tehsil, a leopard attacked a middle-aged man named Dewaram, leaving him injured.

Initially, the leopard had attacked a buffalo calf tied in the enclosure near the house. Upon hearing the calf's cries, Dewaram rushed to the enclosure. When he opened the gate, the leopard attacked him. Dewaram’s cries for help caused the leopard to flee into the forest.

Villages rushed to the scene on hearing Dewaram's shouts. The crowd chased the leopard into the forest and cornered it and beat it to death.

Upon receiving the information, the Sayra police and forest department officials arrived at the scene and took possession of the leopard's body. The police are now investigating the case.
