Meenakshi Garasia's story is one of triumph, proving that with unwavering dedication, one can surmount even the most formidable odds.

Presently serving as a Constable in the Udaipur Police Department, Meenakshi's commitment goes beyond her official duties. She has become an integral part of the Lady Patrolling Team, contributing significantly to the safety and security of her community.

Meenakshi has articulated her goal of preparing economically disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of girls for competitive exams. This includes girls facing poverty, widowhood, divorce or lacking parental support. To fulfill this mission, she has embarked on offering free training, dedicating her time to this cause alongside her job. Currently, she is actively engaged in providing training to 185 women, encompassing both physical fitness and guidance for exam preparation.

Meenakshi's Background

Meenakshi, a native of a small village of Paldewal in Dungarpur, shared that she completed her primary education at the local government school. Growing up in modest circumstances, her parents, Laxmansingh and Shanta Devi, instilled in her the values of perseverance and determination to move ahead. These lessons became guiding principles in her life journey. Devoting herself to her studies, Meenakshi consistently secured the top position in school. Excelling in her 12th-grade examinations, she pursued further education at Meera Girls College, Udaipur, achieving commendable grades. Upon completing her education, she immediately embarked on preparing for competitive exams.

In 2017, she successfully cleared the police constable recruitment exam and underwent training in Jodhpur. Subsequently, she was appointed in Udaipur. During her tenure in the Lady Patrolling Team, Meenakshi received guidance from Deputy Superintendent Chetna Bhati.
