Udaipur, October 4, 2024 - The construction of the Railway Officer Guest House, “Uday Kiran”, at Sukhadia Circle is now complete and preparations are on for its inauguration. The opening, earlier scheduled for tomorrow, October 5, is now likely next week to be done by the General Manager of North Western Railway.

According to sources, the guest house has 24 rooms with hotel-like amenities. It includes two games rooms, two gardens, fountains, sculptures and other facilities.

Previously, the guest house for railway officials was located at the city station, but it was removed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This scheme is an on-going Indian Railways mission launched in February 2023 by the Ministry of Railways to redevelop 1275 stations nationwide.
