It is quite irritating to find your name misspelt or if you have been mentioned incorrectly, wrong date of birth or the year of birth and then of course the gender part. If these errors are found in specific certificates, it is all the more irritating.

With the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination, and the need to produce certificates for travelling purposes, the requirements of correct details are a must. If the certificate has a wrongly spelt name and year of birth, some issues pertaining to authentication can crop up.

The government has made arrangements wherein an individual can make corrections online with respect to the inadvertent errors on the vaccination certificates. All that needs to be done is visit www.cowin.gov.in and “Raise an Issue”.
