Musical Fountain Renovated

The musical fountain at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Udyan also known as Musical Garden at Dudh Talai, reconstructed at a cost of Rs 33 lakh, is set to reopen on January 21, 2024 for residents and tourists. Although there was already a musical fountain at this location, it had been closed earlier due to malfunctions.

A newly renovated musical fountain, with a total cost of Rs 33 lakh, is ready for inauguration on January 21, 2024. The Governor of Assam, Gulabchand Kataria, will be officiating the event. The unique aspect of this fountain is its operation based on sound frequency. As the sound and the singer's voice intensify during a song, the lights will change colors accordingly, and the water will rise to higher levels.
