In Udaipur, a 15-year master plan will be developed to improve and expand wildlife sanctuaries and biodiversity areas. Experts will be consulted to outline actions for wildlife conservation, visitor amenities, and biodiversity enhancement. This plan aims to address the increasing number of tourists visiting these sites.

A recent meeting of the Udaipur Wildlife Development Trust discussed the creation of this plan. It will focus on the sanctuary, biological park, bird park, and Baghdara Crocodile Conservation Area.

DFO DK Tiwari reported that the lion safari at Sajjangarh Sanctuary is almost ready and should start in October. The Asian lions and lionesses from Gujarat are healthy and will soon be housed together. The reptile park at the Biological Park is also set to open, featuring rare snake species.

The Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Biological Park will offer modern facilities for tourists, including a baby care room. A new parking area is being developed, and registered guides will have free entry.
