It is both scary and shocking that the taps in Bedla are giving out water. Instead earthworms, baby snakes and even sewerage water is flowing out of the taps. As informed by the residents, this has happened a number of times in the past as well but no concrete action has yet been taken. 

People are not getting drinking water and terror has prevailed in this area. One of the residents informed that on Sunday morning when he kept a vessel under the tap, earthworms started falling from it. After a short while, babies of snakes also came out and along with them came contaminated water with too much of filth which collected at the bottom of the vessel. 

This is quite an old issue in Bedla gram panchayat. The residents said that water comes in the water tank at Kumharon ki ghati in Bedla from the pump house in Dewali. The pipeline is quite old and damaged at many points. 

Sewerage water also enters this pipe line which reaches the houses. People are not getting drinking water as the water that comes out is full of stench and not meant for general use.
