Saba Nath and Deepshikha Joshi have secured All India Ranking in the CA Final examination results declared on 1 February by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Both the 22 year olds have secured a rank in the Top 50 AIR of the ICAI results. While Saba has secured 34th position in India, Deepshikha has cracked the 28th position.
The results of the November 2020 CA Final examination (Old & New Curriculum) was declared on 1 February. Though it was not the first time that a candidate from Udaipur has secured a high all india rank, but it is the first time that two girls have secured a position in the top 50, which qualifies them as Rank Certificate recipients from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
By securing a spot in the top 50 All India Rankers, Saba and Deepshikha have not only made their parents proud, but also have caused Udaipur to shine once again on the CA Meril List. Both the girls had a common stress point - not only were the preparations hampered by the COVID lockdown, even the uncertainity of the exam dates was getting on to them. They have led by example and shown that even during an unexpected crisis, hard work and consistency pays off.
Interested in pursuing their careers in Taxation
Saba and Deepshikha, with scores of 530 and 536 out of a maximum of 800 marks, have a common desire - now that they are qualified Chartered Accountants, they want to pursue their interests in the field of Taxation. Both the girls have pursued their studies for the CA examinations on their own, using the the online medium and were not participating in any professional classes.
Saba, who has done her schooling from St Mary's School in Udaipur, completed her articleship from Azad Jain and Company in Udaipur, while Deepshikha, who has done her schooling from Central Academy, completed her articleship from Sharma Nishant and Associates
