The two day water sports organized by MLSU come to an end today with more action clutched stunts rolled by Udaipur students.
Wakeboard surfing and towable boating were centre of attraction today, the last day of Adventure sports event started on August 11, 2011 inaugurated by Prof I.V Trivedi – vice chancellor of MLSU.However the participants were less in number today as compare to the first day, but the event turned out to be a complete success. D.S Chohan secretary of University Sports Board said “this is just a small start to create trust for adventure sports among students. In next 6-8 months we will conduct parasailing which would be far challenging than just enjoying a ride on towable boats”. Amit Bansal (22) student of MB College said “I completely enjoyed here, such events should occur often so more and more people can participate. I was little bit hesitate in start but later I enjoyed the fun experience”. Manupriya Kanthaliya student of science from MB College shares her experience saying “the towable boat was just like ridding on a comfortable sofa, I was bit afraid as it is a complete new experience for me but overall I just loved water sports now”. Vijendra Singh Jhala student of commerce says “I was not afraid from water sports because I am a good swimmer; this is an ideal sports for adventurous people of Udaipur”.
