Water level in Lake Pichola has gone up by an inch. Thanks to Madri dam gates which were left open and this resulted in inflow of water in Pichola on Friday. As reported by Water Resource department, Lake Pichola water level has gone to 6 feet 9 inches in the last 24 hours which was earlier 6 feet 8 inches.
Water in Madri dam has gone down to 7 feet 2 inches which earlier was 11 feet 2 inches. Madri dam gates have been lifted so that Lake Pichola gets water for the season. Similarly, Sisarma is flowing at 3 inches now.
