Kiran Maheshwari's Take on Congress -Blamed 'Step-Motherly' Treatment

She mentioned that BJP is getting step motherly treatment in Congress rule. All BJP majority state’s development is being hampered intentionally by Congress Party, but this will not go in long run. BJP would take some very strict actions against it like giving notice about the problem to the President.

She began by stating that a ‘Mukhyamantri Sammelan’ was held by BJP on 9th & 10th may in Delhi. The agendas & discussion points of the meet were:

1. Steps for a corruption free country.

2. All over development of every state, without any discrimination.

3. Public service guarantee scheme.

4. Equal distribution of grains in both BJP as well as Congress ruling states.

She mentioned that Cancer of Corruption is spreading its roots day by day. But Congress is more interested in playing the blame game instead of showing some practical results.

She exemplified few developments done in BJP ruling states which are as following:

Gujarat: In Gujarat, BJP has taken care of 24 hrs electricity supply, E-ration card, Satellite System & infrastructure development, an online answering system for Vidhan Sabha, Optical Fiber Network with broadband facility in 18000 villages in Gujarat.

Chattisgarh: Chattisgarh is no-1 in power production capacity. Which no Congress ruled state could do.

Uttarakhand: To facilitate travelers of Char Dham Yatra, a committee has been set up. Kiran Maheshwari's Take on Congress -Blamed 'Step-Motherly' Treatment

Madhya Pradesh: An act under CM’s supervision named “Public Service Guarantee act” has been enacted which includes 19 services. Just after the enactment of this act, around 38 lacs applications were received & out of them around 36 lacs applications were sanctioned. The remaining ones were replied back with the authentic reason of not sanctioning.

Apart from these state wise developments done by BJP government, she mentioned few more common developmental steps being taken in BJP ruling states like:

1. Laali Lakshmi Yojna – under which, Government provides all funds for the upbringing & education of girls in BPO families.

2. Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna- For marriages of girls.

3. Any minister or Officer, if found having surplus wealth (more than income) in possession, money will be forfeited.

4. A common idea & suggestion box for posting problems to CM.

Stating all above mentioned all round development initiatives taken by BJP, she challenged Congress Party to walk their talk & do something for people.

She blamed Congress party of discrimination against BJP ruling states, like distribution of grains,no funding in ‘Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna’ in MP & Uttarakhand.

She also said that 4 states – Himachal Pradesh, J&K, North East part of India and Uttarakhand, were declared special zone states in terms of development initiatives in the session of 2007 to 2013. But all rights of special development zone in BJP ruling states were curtailed in 2010 by Congress.

In the end she put a full stop to the press conference by saying Congress Party should respect democracy, E tenders facility should be started, Information & communication policy should be activated.

She called Congress government a non accountable government which just revolves around the orders of Sonia Gandhi. Whenever our PM is probed about any corruption scandal, he is always found saying that he doesn’t know anything about it.

“It is high time for Congress to take some real measures.”-She expressed.
