A property dealer left a suicide memo on Saturday leaving names of some money lenders who torture him constantly for interest amount.
Devendra Jain resident of Gokul village in Savina has appealed to Superintendent of Police to take action against certain money lenders. Names of 10 money lenders have been mentioned in the suicide memo that was left on a scooty in the premises of Collector’s office.
As per suicide memo, “I am under the clutches of usurers for the last 3 years. They have been taking interest to the extent of 6 percent to 55 percent. I am paying interest even after demonetisation. I gave up my properties in the process of paying interest. These people are not letting me live peacefully. My family life is destroyed. They have taken blank cheques, stamp papers and declaration letters from Hitesh Parihar as well. Once I die they might compel Hitesh, too, to end his life. I request you to take action against these 10 people and get my documents back from them.”
Police is investigating the matter. As per police officers, a mobile and photocopy of letter were found on a scooty parked in the office premises of Collector’s office. Hiranmagri police have been searching for Devendra Jain but have been unsuccessful in getting his whereabouts.
Some people also mentioned that Devendra had threatened he would end his life by consuming poison. Police have not yet endorsed this news. It is being said that Devendra Jain has borrowed money from a lot of people in town for property dealing purposes.
