‘Kaavdi Kadgam’ from Tamilnadu and ‘Laavni’ from Maharashtra cast a magic spell on the audience at the Shilpgram Utsav 2014 on day seven.
With the weekend spirit, masses flocked to witness the cultural extravaganza at Shilpgram. Performances including ‘Swang’ by Sahariya Tribe, ‘Thang Ta’ by Manipur, ‘Bihu’ by Asam, ‘Sidi’ by Gujrat, ‘Raaybenshe’ by West Bengal, ‘Bhapang’ by Rajasthan and ‘Sambalpuri’ by performers from Odisha received applaud from the spectators.The program on Kalangan started with folk music by ‘Maangniyaar’ folk singers. The magical music performance was followed by ‘Kaavdi Kadgam’ by performers from Tamilnadu and ‘Laavni’ dance performance by group from Maharashtra. Being the weekend, Hatt Bazaar of Shilpgram was also a busy business whole day. Shops of Home Decoration, Woolen Clothes, Fashion Accessories and Art Pieces received major attention from the masses. People were also seen enjoying the seasonal delights with family while watching the performance by ‘Rathwa’, ‘Kacchi Ghodi’ and ‘Gudumbaza’ artists in the Hatt Bazaar.
