A four-day sports event “Medicolympics” at city’s Rabindra Nath Tagore Medical College started today in an inauguration ceremony held at college seminar hall.

The chief guest of the event was Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, executive director of HRH Group of Hotels. Principal of the college, Dr. S.K Kaushik was also present at the event.

Medicolympics will comprise of several indoor and outdoor games which will be held at two venues of RNT Sports Ground and MB College Ground.

In indoor tournaments, competition of Carom, Chess, Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis while in outdoor, matches of Cricket, Volleyball and Football will be conducted between the teams of RNT Medical College.

Today in the inauguration match of badminton, Kanupriya defeated Rajni Bala from 2-1. A cricket match between two teams of final year was also conducted today.
