In the tribal regions, girls still face challenges in pursuing education. Some are held back by the remoteness of their areas, making it hard to access higher education in the city. Others, due to financial struggles, find it difficult to afford further studies. Additionally, dreams of engaging in sports seem quite distant for these girls. However, Deepti Gameti, a remarkable young woman from Dungarpur's tribal region, breaks this norm.

Deepti is currently studying in the 8th grade in Udaipur city. Alongside her academic pursuits, she is actively engaged in football training. Despite facing various challenges, she maintains a strong determination to forge a career in football. Deepti draws inspiration from football icons such as Messi, Neymar, and Pelé, considering them her role models. Additionally, her brother serves as a significant source of motivation for her pursuit of excellence in football.

Deepti's coach, Gafur Khan, shared that she plays as a forward. She got into the Rajasthan Under-14 school team through hard work. After doing well there, she was picked for the School Nationals in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Deepti now dreams of making it to the Indian team and representing her country. She is working hard towards this goal with determination.
