Students from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) have demanded a reduction of 30 percent in fees. The female students did a showdown at Collectorate on Friday with various demands in which the main issue was that of fee structure for students under Self Finance Scheme (SFS).
As demanded by the students, the fee structure is so high that the students hailing from tribal areas are unable to afford the courses. Hence a reduction has been demanded to the extent of 30 percent. Among the students who met with the Collector regarding this issue were Dimple Bhavsar, Mahima Vaishnav, Shubhangi Jain, Komal Vaishnav, Payal Parmar, Kiran Vaishnav and Himani Paliwal.
