With his explosive runs and quick footwork down the left flank, Chhangte is a force to be reckoned with. Featuring in a total of 18 fixtures the 21-year old finished with 5 goals and an assist to his name.
A definite must watch this season, this Mizoram-born youngster is one of the most exciting prospects that the nation has to offer.
With a rather slow start to his debut season at the 2018-19 ISL, this North East United midfielder definitely picked up his pace and settled well within his surroundings. With a great understanding with his midfield partners Federico Gallego and Jose Leudo, the 21-year old proved to be quite a nuisance for opposition attackers.
His great concentration on and off the ball, along with a relentless running ability make him quite dependable in the midfield area.
FC Goa fans were quite nervous when they came to know about the head coach opting for a rather inexperienced 19-year old as the first choice goalkeeper. However, all doubts were cleared as the season progressed with the youngster producing interesting results – a total of 4 clean sheets and 35 saves in a mere 13 appearances.
