The Luv Kush Vatika, started by the Forest Department on the banks of Pichola Lake at Machla Magra, has quickly become a popular tourist attraction. Inaugurated on June 24, 2024, the garden has seen 1,611 visitors in just 13 days, including 1,363 domestic tourists and 248 students.

Daily Visitors and Revenue

On average, 125 tourists visit daily. The ticket price is Rs 20/- for tourists and Rs 10/- for students, generating a total revenue of Rs 29,740/- for the Forest Department.

Attractions and Features

The park's proximity to the ropeway and Karni Mata attracts more tourists compared to other eco-tourism spots. The children's park is a major draw, bringing in many children and students. The Lavkush swing enhances the park's beauty. Additionally, seven terraced check dams have been built to overflow with rainwater into Dudh Talai.

Free Entry for City Residents

City residents can enjoy free entry from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The park remains open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but most city residents prefer to visit in the morning.
