JetBlue was the first airline that started providing free in-flight WiFi services to all of their passengers through their FlyFi service back in 2013. Since then, the airline has expanded its coverage to provide complimentary in-flight WiFi on all flights in the US, as well as on many flights to Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean.

For domestic flights, JetBlue is the most famous airline that offers free high-speed in-flight WiFi to all of its passengers, and soon the airline is looking to increase its international coverage. Of course, the coverage may vary depending on the router and type of aircraft, but it is one of the best airlines to fly to avail free in-flight WiFi.

Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines has become the first major airline to provide free WiFi for all passengers in all cabins. Previously, passengers flying in first-class and business-class cabins already enjoyed free onboard WiFi, but now the airline has announced to provide free WiFi to all passengers, including those seated in economy class across the entire aircraft fleet and the whole global route network.

As a result, passengers in all cabin classes will be able to access free onboard WiFi on Singapore Airlines flights, work online, stay connected, and keep themselves entertained. To enjoy the complimentary WiFi service, passengers must be members of Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer program. Fortunately, passengers can sign up for free and become members of the KrisFlyer program. In view of this, many domestic airlines, including Scoot, have enhanced their in-flight services like ScootWifi to combat this move by SIA.

Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines is another airline from the US that provides free in-flight WiFi on most of its flights. Free WiFi is available on most domestic United States flights, and it is expected that by the end of 2024, the free WiFi service will be available on all domestic and international flights of Delta Air Lines.

In order to access the free in-flight WiFi on Delta Air Lines flights, you must be a member of Delta’s frequent flyer program, SkyMiles. Luckily, you can sign up for the SkyMiles program for free, and you can even do it while you are boarding the plane to make sure that you have access to the free WiFi onboard.

Emirates

Emirates is another international airline that now provides free in-flight connectivity to all of its passengers in every cabin class. All Emirates passengers traveling in any class can enjoy some form of free connectivity now. The only catch is that passengers need to sign up for the Emirates Skywards program. Once they sign up, members can enjoy some form of free connectivity.

Norwegian Airlines

Norwegian Airlines is a low-cost airline that offers free WiFi to passengers on many of their flights. Free WiFi is available on short-haul flights within Europe as well as long-haul flights around the globe. The free WiFi provided by Norwegian Airlines only includes the Basic plan. If passengers want faster service or to stream video content, they can pay for a premium onboard WiFi package.

Apart from these aforementioned airlines, several other airlines provide free WiFi connectivity of some kind. This includes AirAsia, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand, Nok Air, Qantas, and several others.
