People interested in booking RTDC hotels for their vacation and/or business trip are in for a shock. RTDC hotel rooms are generally available between 2 thousand to 4 thousand rupees. But hotel booking sites are showing the tariff between 10 thousand rupees to 1 lakh rupees for RTDC hotels.

People are refraining from booking RTDC hotels and are choosing other hotels which are listed on the same sites and are available between 1000 rupees to 5000 rupees. Reportedly RTDC was in the know of this situation but they haven’t taken any step to rectify this issue. RTDC has now come under a big question mark as to who is responsible for this error or is someone deliberately doing this?

Generally people prefer booking hotels online. They search government hotels for the reasonable tariffs offered. In the recent cases that have come to light, tourists have opted out of RTDC since the hotel booking sites are throwing weird prices. This is directly affecting sales of RTDC hotels. As per Managing Director of RTDC, excessive tariff is being reflected for RTDC hotels online. Management is taking legal advice for the same. Changes will soon be reflected on hotel booking sites.
