New Delhi/Jaipur: Super Luxury Royal Train of Rajasthan, Palace on Wheels (POW) has now been chosen as the world’s best luxury tourist train. The Train secured the 1st rank in the Condé Nast luxury train survey this year.

According to Director of POW (O&M) Pradeep Bohra, the Palace on Wheels ranked second in 2023. However, under  the leadership of Managing Director, Bhagat Singh Lohagarh, upgrades in the train’s facilities have propelled it to the top this year.

In the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards 24, a survey conducted among people worldwide placed Palace on Wheels in the first place. The survey included the top 20 luxury tourist trains globally. Interestingly, two more trains, viz. The Golden Chariot and Maharajas’ Express, operated by IRCTC made it to the 11th and 13th position respectively.
