The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new visa-on-arrival facility for Indian passport holders, simplifying travel for eligible Indian citizens. The Indian Embassy in the UAE shared this update, which allows Indian nationals with valid US, EU, or UK visas or residence permits to receive a visa-on-arrival at all UAE entry points.

Eligibility for Visa-on-Arrival 

To be eligible, Indian travellers must hold valid US visas, green cards, or residence permits from the European Union (EU) or United Kingdom (UK). Additionally, their passports must be valid for at least six months.

Two Visa Options Available  

Eligible travellers can choose between two visa types:  

• A 14-day visa that can be extended for an additional 14 days.  
• A 60-day visa that is non-extendable and comes with a fee as per UAE regulations.
