Udaipur, February 22, 2025 - Starting March 1, an additional general class coach will be permanently added to the Udaipur City-Khajuraho Express. From March 3, Khajuraho Express-Udaipur City train will also get one additional general class coach. This decision was taken by the Northern Western Railways owing to rising passenger numbers and long waiting lists.

Currently, there are four general class coaches, and with the addition of one more, the total number of coaches on this train will increase to 22, including five general class coaches. Each general coach can accommodate 72 passengers, so the addition of one more coach will benefit travellers.

Meanwhile, the New Jalpaiguri train, scheduled to depart from New Jalpaiguri station at 8:30 am on February 24, will halt at Moradabad station for about 60 minutes, causing a delay. As a result, the train will arrive in Udaipur at 5:00 am instead of the previously scheduled 4:00 am owing to a block taken for signal work on the Mehrauli-Dasna rail section.
