अजब दौर से गुज़र रही, दुनिया यहां अभी है,
बंद आदमी है, रास्तों पर वो दिखता कहीं नहीं है...

अपनी ताक़त और ज़ेहानत पर नाज़ करने वाला,
डरा हुआ उस कीटाणु से, जो दिखता कहीं नहीं है...

तेज़ रफ़्तार दौड़ती ज़िन्दगी को थामने वाली,
इक रूहानी ताक़त है, जो दिखती कहीं नहीं है...

ख़ामोशी है, सन्नाटा है, सहमा हुआ जहां है,
उम्मीदों की किरणें, फिर भी दिखती हर कहीं हैं...

इंसाँ को बचाते हुए, इंसाँको संभालते हुए,
खाकी-सफ़ेद लिबास में, ख़ुदा दिखता हर कहीं है...

भूखों को खिलाते, बेसहारों को आसरा देते,
इंसानियत के ख़ूबसूरत चेहरे, दिखते हर कहीं हैं...

आसमानों की चमक, हवाओं की ताज़गी, पंछियों की चेहचाहट,
कुदरत को मिली नयी ज़िन्दगी के, सुबूत दिखते हर कहीं हैं...

इक दूसरे से दूर मगर मज़बूती से जुड़े, पुर-उम्मीद इंसानों की,
इस जंग को जीतने की, ललक दिखती हर कहीं है।
