In case you are travelling on the Udaipur-Indore route by train, you need to take extra security precautions as the route is becoming subjected to increased robberies. Ujjain station is turning out to be a notorious junction for passengers.
A female passenger was targeted yesterday while she was travelling on the Indore-Udaipur route. The victim, Surbhi Parikh, 32 was travelling in the coach S-9 of the train. While on her journey, her luggage was stolen by unknown miscreants in the moving train. The miscreants fled away with a trolley bag containing Rs 7000 and clothes therein.
GRP has filed an FIR on the basis of the statement of the victim.
Similarly, on Saturday, a passenger named Rashmi (23) fell victim to a theft of an iPhone costing Rs 30,000 and cash worth Rs 2000 on the Jhansi-Indore route. Ujjain GRP filed a case in that matter too.
