The latest update that we have received about roads is here. This is about the road from Rampura choraha to Gorela. The road is in such a pathetic condition that residents of these areas feel that they are living in some remote village area which will never see any development. It has become extremely difficult for people to drive even a 4-wheeler on this road. Forget about driving, walking through is also a ‘next to impossible’ task.
As informed by the residents, they have witnessed people falling in to the potholes here suffering fractures. The scene is that certain marriage gardens have come up in this area and the builders have covered up the drains which were the only source for water passage. There are infinite pot holes which are full of dung and sewerage and the stench is enough to choke anyone.
It seems that administration is not even bothered as the entire road is completely worn and torn, tar portion is hardly visible and the condition is much worse than any village road. Isn’t any high profile officer even visiting this area at all? Why is this area being so much neglected? Does administration feel that it is merely a small remote village and does not need to be looked into? Will this place be looked after only during elections or be ignored even then?
There is quite a good population here and children even use 2 wheelers to move into the city for tuitions. There are people who move out for morning walks but are unable to step out of the houses in the present condition. Take a look at all these images sent by one of our readers and you would know…
