Resident doctors get agitated-Salary not paid for May

Resident doctors are agitated over the fact that they haven’t been paid salary for the month of May. RNT Medical College administration was suddenly seen running around when the resident doctors warned the administration of strike against unpaid salary.

Reportedly, medical college administration went berserk at the threat of strike by the doctors. All this because the doctors were agitated because they didn’t get paid for the month of May. The administration held talks with the residents  and assured them of their payments within two days.

As per Dr. Rajveer Singh, President of Resident Association, the resident doctors work for around 20 hours per day. They even long for breaks but administration is not bothered about this fact. Salaries of the resident doctors were kept on hold by administration for no reason. When the residents did not get a satisfactory response post 11 days in June, the doctors decided to go on strike. This alerted the administration and they promised to pay within 2 days’ time.
