The student union election has turned out to be a pain for Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC), as students are sticking posters on walls across city.
The officials of revenue department, UMC have admitted that campaign process of University Election is deteriorating beauty of the city. The students are sticking bills on walls and other public properties, which is unlawful.
Sources informed that, yesterday UMC cleaned polls of Sevsharam Bridge, as posters of a particular party were posted for election campaign.
UMC had also filed cases in the name of few businesses in the past for installing banners and ad-materials illegally, over electricity polls and other public property.
Nitish Bhatnagar, Revenue Officer, informed that walls of Sukhadia University, Public Utilities and Electricity polls are fully loaded with posters of election contenders.
Rajni Dangi, Mayor, UMC added that appropriate action will taken against the accused party or a particular contender for degrading beauty of city.
