Gaurvi Singhvi won Gold once again in the swimming competition in Hanumangarh.
62nd State level swimming competition was held in Hanumangarh. Udaipur’s mermaid Gaurvi Singhvi added 3 more feathers in Udaipur city’s cap by winning 3 Gold. Despite the fact that she was suffering from fever, she didn’t stop and won Gold medals. Anyone else in her place would have either backed out or lost but Gaurvi’s determination won her what she deserves.
She excelled in 200 metres, 400 metres and 800 metres free-style swimming. Last time she won gold was in the 1500 metre free-style relay on State level. As per Gaurvi’s coach and trainer at Khelgaon Mahesh Paliwal, Gaurvi was in high fever while competing in 200 metre free-style. But it didn’t stop her from continuing the competition and she won Gold medals. She was rushed to Jaipur for treatment. Paliwal said that if she remains fit, she will participate in the relay on Thursday.
