The Forest Department, Udaipur has made an appeal to all the citizens to inform on the helpline number if in case they witness a live, dead or wounded wild animal.

Wildlife Conservator Rahul Bhatnagar said that at many times, wild animals are found in wounded conditions, even dead due to many natural reasons. Because of unavailability of proper care and treatment, many animals die. Also, people refrain or delay calling forest department officials due to which the animals suffer.
Bhatnagar emphasized the cooperation of people residing in Udaipur, Rajsamand, Pali, Chittor, Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh to come forward and intimate the concerned department if they witness any wild animal.
