A 14 ft long python was caught and rescued from a farm at Iswal, 22 km from Udaipur today evening by animal rescuer Padam Singh Rathod and his team. The python, which was seen wandering in the fields was caught and set free in the jungle.

According to Rathod, after getting information from a local villager, Padam Singh and his team rushed to the place and discovered the python in the farm. Padam Singh clarified that it was an Indian Rock Python. Villagers informed that the python had swallowed an animal, thus its movement was sluggish.

When measured, the length of the python was around 14 ft. Wildlife officials were called and the python was set free in the jungle nearby.

Padam Singh, founder of Wild and Street Animal Rescue Society, appealed to everyone to inform whenever they witness a wild animal in distress by calling on this no. 9829597722 and/or 9414234826.
