Attempt to break an ATM machine failed when suspected robbers were unable to open the SBBJ bank ATM at Devali. The incident occurred last night.

Police has started the investigation and likely to catch the culprit. According to the police, the attempt of robbery came under notice today morning when someone saw the ATM was torn down but the cash box was safe.

No security guard was deployed at ATM but CCTV cameras were installed. Police is trying to get video footage for further investigation.

The same ATM witnessed an attempted robbery more than a year ago. There have been number of such cases that have occurred in the past, mostly on those ATM booths which has no security guard.
