A husband and wife were attacked by a group of unidentified people on the night of 19 April at their house located at a village named Vada Laxmanpura of Pahada (Kherwada dist).

In the assault, Arjun Meena died on the spot while his wife Sunita has suffered severe injuries and has been admitted in MB Hospital Udaipur after been referred by the government hospital of Kherwada today morning.

The motive behind the attack is still unknown but Kherwada Police has started investigating the case.

According to Police, it was when Arjun and his wife Sunita were sleeping a few people laced with sharp weapons broke into their house and attacked them. Arjun Meena was killed on the spot while Sunita has received multiple injuries and her condition is critical.

Additions: The deceased, Arjun was a lawyer and used to practice at Kherwada.

Correction: The surname of victim are ‘Parmar’ and not Meena.
