A 20-year-old student of B.Com committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. The motive behind the suicide is not known yet.

The girl, resident of Pratap Nagar was undergoing treatment at hospital as she was admitted yesterday after consuming poison. She succumbed to death today after her condition deteriorated.

According to the mother of the victim, her daughter was found lying on floor unconscious. The mother called her husband and rushed her to the hospital.

The victim was in critical state and died today morning. No report against anyone is lodged by the victim’s parents.
