A man, resident of Village Dhikli was attacked by a leopard last night when he went searching inside the deep forest for one of his missing goats. The injured victim somehow managed to free himself from the beast.

Yesterday the victim Khayalilal Gameti reached home after herding his number of goats in nearby pasture land. As he was counting, he found one of the goats gone missing. Khayalilal decided to go back in search for the goat.

While looking for it, he went inside the jungle where he found the mutilated body of the goat. Before he could understand anything, a leopard that was hiding in the bushes suddenly attacked him and caught hold of one of his hand.

The victim courageously retaliates and escapes from the clutches of the beast.

Wounded Khayalilal reached his village and informed others about the incident. The victim was rushed to hospital in Udaipur, where he is undergoing treatment.

According to villagers the areas of Fagara and Panvadi Van Khand is very dangerous since leopards often attack their livestock.
