The young man who died yesterday after drowning in Lake Fateh Sagar has been identified as Surya Prakash Verawal, resident of Sector 14, Goverdhan Vilas.

The relatives of the deceased had reached the hospital earlier today where they identified the victim. His family had been carrying out a search for him since yesterday. According to them, he had left his home to visit the GBH American Hospital for a check-up.

Surya Prakash was working in a private company at Transport Nagar and was suffering from Migraine.

It remains unclear as to how Surya Prakash ended up in the lake and is currently being investigated by the police.
