Relatives of a 35-year-old accident victim refused taking the corpse from mortuary till government officials didn’t agreed on compensation for the widow. The issue was resolved after a sum of Rs. fifty thousand cash and widow pension was granted.

The victim Yakub Hussain, a tailor and resident of Aloo Factory area died today during treatment. He was admitted to MB Hospital last night in serious condition after an unknown vehicle hit him. Yakub is survived with three daughters and wife.
