A 14-year-old boy drowned in a small pond located below Bedla Bridge. The boy was accompanied by his friends, all of whom reside in an orphanage.

The deceased, identified as Bhupendra Meena from Tidi, went to the pond for a bath when the incident occured.

As per Govind Damor, a friend of the victim, Bhupendra went inside the water and when everyone asked him to come out, he went too far into the deep water and drowned. As soon as his friends realized that he may be at a risk of drowning, they rushed to find help and called people in the vicinity.

Police was called and the body of the deceased was searched by the divers. The victim was residing in the orphanage run by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth and used to study in a school at Bedla.
