To ensure that the National Republic Day is celebrated with out any untoward incident in the region, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of CID zone conducted a security drive in many major places of Udaipur City.

BDS conducted inspection at Celebration Mall and carried out the Anti-Sabotage routine. Team checked basement, parking and every floor of the Mall premises. Squad members briefed security guards of the mall, on how to efficiently use metal detectors, fire extinguishers, etc.

A team of Police Station officers along with Sniffer dogs accompanied BDS in the inspections. Later, teams also inspected Lake City Mall, as informed by Shoorveer Singh, BDS In-charge.

Singh added that, “We are ensuring safety checks and sudden inspection at various places since 15th January, to ensure that there is no untoward incident on R-Day”.

The whole team of BDS of CID zone including Shoorveer Singh, BDS In-charge; Hemant Chuahan; Gagan Singh, Head Constable with his dog; Ishwar Lal LC; Bhagvat Singh LC and Dilip Singh performed their task of security check as per the instructions of AdSP CID Zone, Vikram Singh.
