Members of the C.L.G met officials from the Police department, at the Hiran Magri Police station yesterday. CLG members discussed problems of the area under the Hiran Magri Police Station and also provided suggestions to overcome them.

The meeting was organized in the presence of DySp Goverdhan Lal and Circle Inspector Gajendra Singh Rao.

Members presented many points to be taken into consideration by the police in Hiran Magri and nearby areas.

C.I Gajendra Singh Rao informed that major emphasis was laid on the presence of stray animals on the roads in that area, which has for some time been the root cause of accidents.

They also highlighted a problem common these days near Krishi Mandi where no proper dividers were made, due to which people drive on the wrong side of the road, ultimately resulting in accidents.

CLG members also suggested the appointing of CPOs or Security Guards for colonies in the vicinity, especially for night patrolling so that incidences of theft which are very frequent in these areas can be controlled.

After listening to all suggestions the DySp assured them that the department will take them on record for implementation on priority.  He also asked all the CLG members to keep an eye on suspects seen in the area and inform the police about them.
