In line with the initiative of City Administration with respect to beautification of Udaipur, a new project has been launched. In this project, declared by Collector, old and historical buildings in old city areas and other places will be beautified with paintings and art works of local artists.

With twin objectives of motivating local artists as well as beautification of city, the Administration has already begun the adornment of few of the buildings; while teams have been appointed for identifying other places and locations where outer walls and periphery of old and historical structures will be decorated with local art.

It has already been decided that paintings and art works should be such that depicts life, culture and history of Udaipur. For achieving the desired objectives, local artists who are expert in such art works are invited by Administration and provided with paints, colors, brushes and accessories, along with the charges for their works.

The project is aimed to be complete within 2-3 months. With this initiative, the City Administration is once again inspiring and inviting citizens of Udaipur to not just keep the city clean but also to beautify.
