Now ‘Hospital Protection Force’ to reduce conflicts

MB hospital will now have a special ‘Hospital Protection Force’ that will provide security to the hospital and staff members round the clock. This initiative was taken considering the continuous clashes between the patients and the doctors.

Under this initiative, 2 police chowkis will be made in the hospital compound; one for Pannadhay Unit and one for other departments of MB hospital. Each chowki will be provided with 13 policemen including 9 constables, 3 head constables and 1 inspector.

The recent occurrence of clash between the doctor and attendant at Kota made the State Government to take the decision of protective force at all such districts which also have medical college in the same premise along with the hospital.

Hopefully, the ‘Hospital Protection Force’ will reduce the incidences of assault between the doctors and the patients/attendants.
