The protesting employees of the roadways department announced strike that will commence from tonight at 12 o’clock. This decision has been taken by them against the government’s decision of privatization of the Roadways department.

The employees had staged a protest at the roadways bus stand on Wednesday and called slogans against the government.

On this occasion, the leader of the Roadways Employee’s Union Mahesh Upadhyay informed that the members and various unions have backed this protest and will continue till the government reconsiders the decision.

He also claimed their decision to go for a strike is due to the government’s negligence towards their demands. One of the senior members of the union said that they are annoyed of this decision of privatization and are protesting for the same.

On the other hand, the senior officials agitated with the protest decided to deduct one day salary of all employees sitting on strike.
